Sensors come in a lot of different types and shapes. They are all specially made to measure that specific 'thing' which they are designed for. A sensors 'senses' or measures a physical quantity (e.a. temperature, light, pressure etc) and converts this to electrical signals.

  An explanation will be given here which sensors to use for what purpose; although most of the time this is quiet obvious. If the right sensor is chosen, the trouble starts. How do you connect this thing to a MicroLab and how do you get the right values out of it. Also these things will be explained

  Some basic knowledge will really come in handy when you want to create new sensors; so try to understand the simple explanation of how to calculate the right (resistor) values.
